Perceptra has been selected as a technology partner for the launch of the A.Catalyst Network Thailand Hub by AstraZeneca (Thailand), joining a global health innovation network active in more than 20 countries. This selection marks a significant recognition of Thai-developed artificial intelligence on the international stage.
What is A.Catalyst Network?
A.Catalyst Network is a global health innovation initiative designed to deliver tangible outcomes for patients by bringing together policymakers, healthcare providers, industry leaders, and civil society. The establishment of the Thailand Hub aims to accelerate the development of a robust Health Innovation Ecosystem, with three strategic priorities:
1) Tackling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) Through AI Leveraging global knowledge and best practices to develop and deploy AI technologies that support the prevention, detection, and treatment of NCDs — including chronic kidney disease, cancer, respiratory conditions, and rare diseases.
2) Building a Sustainable Health Ecosystem Fostering collaboration across policymakers, hospitals, private sector organizations, and patient networks to drive innovation that creates measurable impact within the healthcare system.
3) Empowering Thai HealthTech Startups Supporting Thai-led innovation to raise the standard of domestic healthcare and creating pathways for international knowledge exchange.
Perceptra's Role as Technology Partner
As the technology partner of the initiative, Perceptra deployed its Inspectra CXR solution as part of a lung health screening program for workers across four provinces: Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chonburi, and Chachoengsao. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), AstraZeneca, and relevant government agencies.
Inspectra CXR analyzes chest X-ray images to detect up to eight types of pulmonary abnormalities with 98% accuracy. This enables faster, more efficient screening for workers and empowers clinicians to identify health risks at an earlier stage.
This collaboration represents a significant milestone for Perceptra in advancing the application of AI to strengthen Thailand’s public health system — and marks the beginning of a deeper partnership with one of the world’s leading health innovation networks.
